WiPSC founding team

Our Journey

Founded in 2015 by a group of female procurement executives, WiPSC began as a small networking group in New York City. Frustrated by the lack of gender diversity in leadership roles within procurement and supply chain, our founders sought to create a space where women could support each other's professional growth.

What started as monthly dinner meetings has grown into a global organization with chapters in 15 countries and over 5,000 members. Our community includes professionals at all career stages, from recent graduates to Chief Procurement Officers.

Our Milestones

2015

Founded in New York

Launched with 12 members meeting monthly to discuss challenges and opportunities for women in procurement.

2017

First International Chapter

Expanded to London with our first international chapter, marking the beginning of global growth.

2019

Corporate Partnership Program

Launched partnerships with Fortune 500 companies to advance gender equity in supply chain leadership.

2022

Global Summit Series

Hosted our first virtual global summit with over 1,200 attendees from 45 countries.

2025
